Replaced my entire cookware set during a kitchen renovation. This wok became the centerpiece of the new setup. Everything about it feels deliberate and carefully made. The handle angle, the depth of the bowl, the thickness of the base. Using it every day feels like a genuine upgrade in my cooking experience overall.
Old pan warped and wobbled constantly. This one has stayed flat for seven months now. The thick base makes all the difference.
After five months of careful hand washing and exclusive use of silicone utensils the nonstick noticeably degraded. Eggs that used to slide off now require scraping. The heat distribution is still good and the base has stayed flat so the pan is not useless. But the core promise of this cookware is the nonstick coating and that promise was not kept past the five-month mark. I followed every care instruction provided. No dishwasher, no metal utensils, never overheated the pan. Still ended up with a surface that performs like a basic budget pan. Disappointing given the price and marketing claims about durability.
