Didn't even know dishwasher-safe nonstick pans existed until I came across this set. Even so, the manufacturer includes the usual disclaimer that if the dishwasher is carelessly packed, other dishes or utensils may damage the surface, so hand washing is recommended. I've never put nonstick pans in the dishwasher anyway; coatings tend to wear down over time even with gentle hand washing, so I'm hand washing these too. What really drew me in is the curvy sidewall design, which makes flipping and tossing things like risotto and omelets much easier. One thing I didn't expect is a slight indent around the bottom edge where sauce or oil can pool. It hasn't affected my cooking at all, though some people might prefer a completely flat interior. The materials are oven safe to 450F, which is plenty for a frittata; I had to look that up on the brand's website because the listing didn't include the limit, so I definitely wouldn't broil at higher heat. The nonstick performance is decent, though even brand new it needs a little oil to keep eggs from sticking. I'm hoping that's because it avoids the more toxic coatings like PFOA and will last longer with gentle use, especially if I'm careful about burnt-on food, which ruins any nonstick surface. Overall the set feels high quality and I'm optimistic about its longevity. It performs as I hoped and I love how easy it is to flip food, just like the chefs on Chef and My Fridge.
Traded in a beat up scratched set for this and the gap between them is enormous. Fish fillets come off whole and it reaches temperature quickly on gas. The price gave me pause at first, but a couple of months of daily cooking later I'd call it money well spent. Still glossy, and none of the pitting my old set developed inside a year.
Bought the three most versatile sizes in this set and I'm extremely satisfied. The pans feel solid and sturdy with a nice weight that gives good stability while cooking, and they're deep enough for stir-fry, which makes them very practical day to day. Even cooking with dry heat, food doesn't stick and everything comes out clean and beautifully cooked. The performance is impressive. I've always trusted this brand for quality and this set lives up to it. Excellent Korean craftsmanship and reliability, as expected. Highly recommended.
