Onyx - Frying Pan

It works well.

Owned this pan for three months, bought for an inductive stove to replace an Oneida we'd had for three years. We use only wooden or silicone utensils and always hand wash. The initial nonstick surface was very impressive and has degraded a little since, though it's still excellent. The good: our pan bottom is flat, so oil stays roughly where you put it, and you only need oil for flavor anyway, since the nonstick works very well; it cleans very easily; and it cooks reasonably evenly. What I wish were better: the pan is a little shallow and the rim doesn't come up far enough for our frying pan covers the way the Oneida did; to work on induction it has a magnetic plate on the bottom, which needs much more power than our other pans because it's a less efficient way of making a pan induction ready; and because of that plate it's tricky to keep the pan centered on the magnetic burner, so you have to watch that it's really on the burner at all times.

Easy cleanup and food doesn't stick. Great pan.
