CeraTerra 8" & 12" Frying Pan Set

Staining is the problem, and it only gets worse. I've tried every non-abrasive thing I can think of and there's no getting these clean. Steer clear.

Quiet competence is the best way to describe it. No drama, no maintenance, nothing to think about. It just does the job every single evening.

Coming up on two years with this one, used three or four times a week and mostly hand washed with the odd dishwasher run. It's my second CerraTerra 12-inch and they've been consistent. Re-oiling it now and then over medium-high heat keeps the surface slick, though it's wearing now and I have to do that more often than I used to. Watch the rim � the coating there chips fairly quickly if you use a lid, although it hasn't spread to the rest of the pan. The weight is right and it heats evenly on my induction cooktop. The handle is a real plus; I can move straight from burner to oven or broiler to finish something off. Wash it right away and cleanup takes no effort. Worth knowing: Techef runs a free replacement program once you've had a pan over two years � send a photo and your receipt and they send a code for their site, US only. That policy buys them a lot of goodwill from me. Without it I'd probably knock off a star, because visible wear at two years is rough on a $50 pan, even given how hard I use it.
