My first one got scratched from using the wrong utensils early on. Completely my fault. Bought a second one immediately because I missed it so much. This time I use only silicone and the coating looks brand new after six months. The even heat and quick cleanup make it essential in my kitchen.
My ceramic cooktop can be fussy about pots but this one heats quickly and evenly on it. No discoloration on the ceramic surface after repeated use. A great pairing.
The lid is thick and well-made. It doesn't fog up completely so you can still see what's happening inside. The knob handle stays cool to the touch during simmers.
