Heat spreads well, cooking is straightforward, and washing it is quick.
Never traveled with a pan before this one, but we cannot stand cooking without it so it comes along on vacation. With constant use each one lasts around two years and I believe we are on our third.
Originally I bought the twelve inch TeChef wok and stir fry pan because of the price. With a smooth top range, a flat bottomed wok was my only choice. The weight of it pleasantly surprised me. The heavy base spreads heat evenly, and the teflon select coating both keeps food from sticking and lets me use less oil for healthier cooking. Thanks to that surface, cleanup is very easy, and the pan, close to an eggplant purple, is as attractive as it is practical. Highest recommendation from me. Thank you TeChef.
